What is
the difference between Acetylenic Glycol surfactant and Traditional
surfactants?

1.Charge factor
|
Lonic surfactant: Charge stabilized
foam.
VS
Acetylenic
glycol: Non-ionic surfactants don’t require charge stabilization factors.
2.Surface
viscosity
|
Lonic surfactant:The higher surface viscosity is the more
stable the bubble.
Acetylenic
glycol: The hydrophilic group is arranged horizontally, and the internal
cohesion is small; the surface viscosity is small, and the foam stability
is reduced.
3.Steric hindrance
Traditional
surfactants: have large molecular weight and large steric hindrance, which
prevents microbubbles from continuing to combine into large bubbles and break
them.
Acetylenic glycol:The space is small, and microbubbles are easily
combined into large bubbles to enhance defoaming ability.
